Avión

Tienes múltiples formas de llegar a A Coruña. Puedes hacerlo en coche, en tren, en avión, en moto, en bici, en caravana y hasta en barco...

A Coruña cuenta con aeropuerto propio. Es el Aeropuerto de Alvedro y se sitúa a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad. Desde él puedes volar a Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Menorca, Málaga, Gran Canaria, Londres, Ginebra y Milán.

Además, a 45 minutos en coche o 30 minutos en tren se encuentra el Aeropuerto Rosalía de Castro de Santiago de Compostela, desde el que puedes conectar con múltiples ciudades españolas y europeas.

Para facilitarte el desplazamiento, el Aeropuerto de Alvedro cuenta con servicio de transporte en autobús y taxi al centro de la ciudad.

Train

If you travel by train, you can comfortably and conveniently arrive at the iconic San Cristóbal Station, half an hour's walk from the centre. If you prefer, you can take a bus or a taxi into town.

The train station gives you long-distance options, including the high-speed AVE train from Madrid, as well as medium-distance from Vigo, Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela.

Car

If you choose to come in your own car, you can reach A Coruña via several main roads. The Autopista del Atlántico (AP9) connects us with Portugal, passing through Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra and Vigo, among other cities. The Autovía del Noroeste (A6) links A Coruña with Madrid via Lugo, Ponferrada and other Castilian cities, and the Autovía del Cantábrico links us with Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country.

Alternative. N-VI Route

If you don't want to drive on the highway, you can opt for a road trip adventure through the N-VI Route, which starts at Madrid's kilometre zero and arrives at the Tower of Hercules after crossing more than 70 municipalities.

You'll be able to visit unknown museums, castles full of history, wineries with several Designations of Origin, a lot of nature and, of course, taste the gastronomy of our country.

At Alvedro Airport, San Cristóbal Train Station and in the city centre, you'll find several car hire companies.

We've compiled a list of vehicle rental companies to facilitate this service, so you can hire a vehicle to get around as you please or take a day trip outside of A Coruña.

Bus

To get to A Coruña by bus, there are companies such as Alsa, Alsacalpita, Flixbus, Monbus and Arriva, which offer connections to and from A Coruña, whether national, international or even intercity. Buses arrive at the A Coruña Bus Station, and some of them even stop in the city centre.

The station has a shopping area with newsagents, a cafeteria and a pharmacy, as well as left-luggage services.

It is also well-connected to the city centre, which can be reached by car or taxi in less than 10 minutes, or by city bus if you prefer.

Ship

Several cruise companies include a stopover in A Coruña on their routes. The location of the Transatlantic Quay, in the heart of the city, allows cruise passengers quick access to the main shopping and tourist areas. You can download more information here.
