Science and technology museums
The House of Science is an interactive museum. You can experience and learn more about science, physics and astronomy through exhibitions, interactive modules and the planetarium.
Domus was the world's first interactive museum entirely dedicated to the human being. The building, designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, has more than 150 interactive exhibits to entertain and explore the characteristics of the human species.
Aquarium Finisterrae aims to spread knowledge about the ocean and to cultivate attitudes of appreciation and care for the sea and marine life. It was founded by the A Coruña City Council and first opened its doors on 5 June 1999. The aquarium has four exhibition rooms, each with its own personality, and a biological collection of more than three hundred species.
The Spanish National Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT) is a public museum with a multitude of fascinating gadgets on display: scientific instruments, technological devices, transport vehicles and mechanical and industrial tools. The museum is housed inside the gorgeous building known as the Prisma de Cristal, or Glass Prism.
