A Coruña in concert!

File photo: Festival Noroeste Estrella Galicia

There are many things that define us as a city: the sea, fashion, gastronomy, our way of living life... And in this last part, there is a key element: music.

Small acoustic performances, big festivals, sold-out concert halls, the Coliseum... The musical offer that floods the city is not only extensive during the summer months, but it also lasts throughout the year.

Here is a list of the festivals and concerts we've had this year and those that are still to come!

María Pita Festivals

The quintessential festivals of the city that last the entire month of August. Concerts by renowned artists or groups of current and traditional music are held in the historic María Pita square. The programming is completed with cultural activities for the whole family, the Santa Margarita Pilgrimage, or sporting events such as the Teresa Herrera Football Trophy.

Additionally, the Noroeste Estrella Galicia Festival is taking place during these holidays, a free event where you can enjoy live music and different styles in diverse locations throughout the city, such as Plaza Azcárraga, Campo da Leña, or Riazor beach.

Christmas Lights

Christmas waits for you in A Coruña.

Christmas always returns to remind us of what truly matters: wonder, togetherness, and the magic in every moment. From a young age, we learn to look forward to each moment with excitement. And even as we grow up, that way of waiting never disappears. The wonder doesn't either. It remains in the hope of a reunion, in the special plans that only happen at this time of year, or in the traditions that invite us to pause and enjoy.

The lights are already on, and the city invites you to wander its streets. Its Christmas market is also ready for you to get lost among flavors, crafts, and music. Add to that a full cultural calendar so you won't waste a single day in the city: concerts, exhibitions, theater, family activities, and much more.

Check out our leisure guide now so you don't miss a thing!
